Leisure 55: Zombie Nails - Halloween Special

My second design for Halloween. ZOMBIE nails. It's very simple yet tricky! Haha! You might think, I used some special tools for this but no! Not even special nail polish. Only simple ones and cheap ones. All you need to have is a little creativity.

You will need:
Base Coat
Nude Polish
Green Polish
Yellow Polish
Brown Polish
Red polish
Nail clipper / Nail Cutter
Artificial Nail (if not available, sacrifice your own nails)
Mascara
Brown Eye Shadow

Carefully follow the instructions below. Let's start!

Step 1: 

If you have artificial nails, use the nail clippers or nail cutters to cut the tip and form it as rough and ruined tip.

If you don't have any and you need to do some cleaning with your own nails, play with it first before you trim it. Then use your own nails as the trick for rough, edgy, cracked zombie nails.

Put nude polish twice.

 Step 2:

When your nude polish is already dry, put yellow polish.

Please take note that the key to achieve this gross nail look is LESS polish.

Remove excess polish on your nail brush before you put it on your nail.

A touch of yellow is better than full yellow look.

Step 3:

When it is dry, prepare green polish.

Remove excess polish before putting it on the nails.

Just a touch of green will do.

Now it looks more like a snot and that's what we want to achieve.... an infected zombie nail.

 This is a prep time for the next polish.

You just need a brown polish.

Since I ran out of brown polish, I used bronze, nude and black.

I mixed it so it would look like brown color.

 Step 4:

Remove excess polish before putting the brown polish and red polish.

Let it dry. 

No need to be perfect and no need for top coat to seal anything.

Step 5:

Using your mascara, put it around your finger nails and rub it so it would create a dirty look.

To add on the dirty and muddy look, use your brown eye shadow and rub it on your fingers.

DONE!

Say hello to your ZOMBIE nails.

 Aw... Excuse me for what I did to my fingers. I always do this. Hahaha!
