Leisure 30: Ombre Nails with a Twist

Ladies, just follow the follow the photos below..


Step 1: Nude Polish

Then put tape around the nails to protect the area around the nails.

Step 2: Prepare the colors you wish to put on your ombre. Plus prepare the sponge. I chose 2 shades of purple by Wet N Wild.

Apply the coat of two colors on the cosmetic sponge.

Press it on your nails halfway for the first touch. On the second touch just press it lightly. Then remove the tape.

Step 3: Using your dotting tool, put dots on the purple using your nude polish.

Step 4: Using your dotting tool and purple polish, put dots on the nude part. Apply top coat and you are done.

DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!!

Leisure 29: Inspiration

I know I have promised to put my latest tutorial. However, I am so busy as of the moment. To keep you guys updated with my post, I have decided to share the nail art designs of one of my inspirations. The owner of this nail is also a nail artist and she is my cousin Carol Mae Deonoso.

TUNA Festival 2013 (General Santos City)

Tuna Festival is one of the many festivals celebrated in the Philippines. Tuna festival happens annually in our city, General Santos. Our city is the Tuna Capital of the Philippines. It produces the freshest tuna in the country and even sells big number of export quality tuna outside the country.

Usually it is a week long celebration held every year for the month of September. There were a lot of activities for this celebration. The city organized the Tuna Run, Biggest tuna competition and even street dance competition. 

Below are some of the photos which I personally took while the festival is happening. 

I haven't took the photos of the TUNA competition itself though but I will next year.

Mt. Sabrina, Tambler (General Santos City)

Too bad the canon cam (my step dad's cam) was battery empty :(

So I had to use my Samsung Note. 

iPhone captures best at night though...

Last September 7, my family and I had a simple dinner at Mt. Sabrina. This is located at Tambler, General Santos City. To get there, you will may use your own vehicle or a public transport. The only problem with public transport is that you have to make a deal with the driver for how much and within how many hours. So, if I were you guys, use your own vehicle.

Going up is quite dusty, so be prepared with your handkerchiefs if you will use public transport.

I just wanted to show you guys how fantastic is this place at day time.

While the kids are enjoying the pool, my mom and step dad are enjoying the food. Hahaha 

Honestly, the food is quite expensive. But it's worth it. The food is really good. The rooms are expensive but haven't tried checking in so I cannot give comments on how it looks like or how it smells or how small or big. However, I already have the prices upon asking the attendants there.

The whole area is over looking the city of General Santos. It really looks amazing at night. I wonder how it looks like at day time.

I hope go back at Mt. Sabrina and experience the whole thing and the whole area for 2 days... that's going to be like afternoon, night and sunrise.. I think it would be wonderful.
