Leisure 39: Black and White Combo

Hello October!!! This month is going to be exciting and fun. I just launched my promo for my own store online. With lots of hopes and prayers, I really wish that a lot would join the contest I have designed for all my valued clients. Anyhow, this is my post for October -- the simple black and white combo.

This is a very simple design and everybody can do this, even little kids.

You will need:

White polish
Black Polish
Silver Polish
Top coat
Nail art brush or tooth pick

How to do it:

 Step 1:
Paint all your nails WHITE.
Let it dry.

Step 2:
Use the black polish as your french tip.

Step 3:
Above the black tip, put a think silver polish.

 Step 4:
Using your nail art brush, just draw some lines of your own for your ring finger nail and thumbnail.
Finish it with top coat.

DONE!!!

My hand and my friend Kristine's hand.

Lots of love for you this October!!!

Leisure 38: Yellow Zebra Nails

Yellow Zebra Nails
for my friend Kristine Orario.

cause she loves YELLOW!!!

YOU WILL NEED:
Nail art brush
Yellow polish
White Polish
Black Polish
Tape
PATIENCE

HOW TO DO IT:

 Step 1:
Apply white polish to all four nails.
Yellow polish for the nails of your ring fingers; for accent purposes.

Step 2:
When completely dry, put a tape on the four white nails.
Leave a space of these white nails in the middle to give way for yellow color.
Do not put a tape on your yellow nails because it's made to be plain for accent purposes.

Note:
If accented nail is plain, the rest of the nails are exaggerated.
If accented nail is exaggerated, the rest of the nails are plain.

 Step 3:
Paint that part yellow.
Let it dry.

Step 4:
Using a black polish and nail art brush draw some zebra line on the yellow part.

and you are...

DONE!

Leisure 37: NAILSpiration -- Lovely Cousin Carol

Ladies, Mommies, everyone, my apologies for not updating today with my own nails. So, I asked my lovely cousin Carol to send her DIY's to me so I could post it here for my NAILspiration.  She also prepared steps for you to do it on your own.

As I have promised, you will soon see the owner of these nails.. Whoala!! Here's my cousin Carol everyone. She is as equally lovely as her nails.

And well, originally.... we were three: my sister, my cousin and I. We grew up together and now, we are away from each other. That's probably how life is when you get older.

The three of us love drawing or sketching. Well, I guess no one in the family is allowed to exist if you can't draw. Kidding!!! :P

And we are the "eating disorder group" cause we all eat a lot and we all love food.

That's it for now everyone. Tomorrow, I will be posting about my client's nails which I did earlier today. Below is a combined photo of us three..

If a picture paints a thousand words...
Someday.. Someday..
I miss you both.
I miss us.
See you soon!

Have a great day everyone!

Enjoy your day as I enjoy mine..

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

Quotes of the day (which I have learned by experience while I am handling my small business and during the days I was in great pain).. Learn from my experience ladies..

"If your best ideas had been taken away by somebody,
it only goes to show it isn't the best yet.
The best is yet to come."

"They might have taken away my ideas but what they cannot take from me is my mind and how God makes it work."

"I may not have TOO much but I have my family and that is more than enough.
How about you, what do you have?"

"Never push me to my limits because I work best when I am under pressure and my mind works crazily great when I am wounded. I work while I smile in pain. How about you, do you just work when you copy other people's ideas?"

"Happy are those who are envious of me and taken what is suppose to be mine... for now..
You'll drop your jaw the moment I take it back..
Good luck, you're gonna need it!"

Leisure 34: How far can ONE color go?

How far can one color go?

For your daily dose of DIY nail art design, I did a wickedly cute design using only one color -- BLACK.

You will need:
Black polish
Matte finish Polish
Shiny Top Coat
Nail Art Brush

How to do it:
Step 1:
Apply base coat on your nails to protect them.
If you don't have any proceed with applying the black color right away.
Let it dry.
Carefully look at this part here, the black color is so shiny and that's the effect of not putting anything yet.

Still shiny nails here.

Step 2:
Put a MATTE finish on your black nails.
This will give a DRY EFFECT on your nails.

Step 3:
Using the SAME color - BLACK and your nail art brush,
put a design over the mattefied black nails.

Step 4:
You may use a toothpick and a shiny coat to cover ONLY the design you made and
NOT the whole nails because the effect will be useless.

More photos below for a close look on the design.

Quote of the day:
TELL me what I CAN'T do and I'll SHOW you what I CAN.

Paraiso Verde (Koronadal, South Cotabato)

Welcome to Paraiso Verde!!! For travel enthusiasts, Paraiso Verde is one good place for you, your family and friends to drop by.

From our city (General Santos), you can travel going to this paradise via private vehicle or public vehicle (commute). This is situated in Marbel or Koronadal. It is one (1) hour ride from Gensan via bus. Bus fare depends on the kind of bus you will have to ride. Yellow Bus Line's fare will range from 75 pesos to 100 pesos. The 100 pesos fare is for the bus with wifi and television. That's adult and regular price. I haven't asked about children.

 My super friend Kristine.

The entrance fee is Php150 and children below 2 years old are FREE. The cottages differs from its kind but it ranges from Php150 - Php1000+. The Php1000+ is good for pavillion which could be over night.

You are allowed to bring food but you will pay minimum corkage. You are NOT allowed to bring any knife, guns, weapons, sharp objects or the like.

They are known for MOBY WAVE POOL, which I have posted above.

They also cater little customers -- kids in their WIGGLES KID POOL.

They also have the FREESTYLE AREA for swimmers. Plus they offer the ADVENTURA RIVER RAPIDS which sad to say, my friend and I didn't have the chance to explore.

 My lovely friend Kristine Orario.

They are open from 12 noon until 9pm.

Paraiso Verde offers good food. However, it comes along per pack. Since, there are only two of us, we then decided to eat outside the water park.

Welcome to CINCO NINAS. The people and attendants here are so nice and friendly. They use the language Ilonggo. Ilonggo is one of the 8 major languages in the Philippines. My friend Kristine speaks Ilonggo fluently because she is one. I am a trying hard Ilonggo speaker, but I can. It's one of the languages I know how to speak.

I really love the black tuna sashimi.
I find joy in eating raw fish.

I believe this is the seafood guisado.
It really tastes good and it is very affordable.
This serving is good for 3-4 persons which minimum appetite.

Another favorite dish, inihaw na pusit.
This is white squid.
It does look good but TASTES EVEN BETTER.

I am at my best when I am with one of the best.
Cheers to our friendship that knows no bounds.
Cheers to almost a DECADE of friendship.
Thank you for staying at my best and never giving up at my worst!
You are one of the FEW people who stood beside me when..
I was too much to handle.
It has been almost 2 years since we last met and yet..
when we did, the bond that connected us for so long is still there.
To our journeys in the past and travels in the future..

Quote of the day:
You will be at your best if you find the BEST people who will encourage you to do your best and
bring out the BEST IN YOU.
