Leisure 17: Orchid Photography (Stress Reliever)

Kurt and I were out for a visit in my mother-in-law's house. We also visited Nina and Nonoy (Kurt's cousins). The kids had fun eating and playing while I was having fun taking some photos of my mother-in-law's lovely full grown orchids.

This is really a rare orchid in the Philippines. Usually the colors are purple and red violet.
I really love this. Plus what's really amazing is that, it's so small and there's a lot in a bunch.

So, this is the original bunch of the first photo above.

 Another orchid I adore...

 And the last one..
Nature at its finest...
Simple and yet elegant..

The bunch of purple orchids..

And... The kids are playing while I was taking photos.

Kuya Nonoy, Ate Nina and Kurt.
Behind them is garden full of orchids..

Bonding time with Kurt and cousin Kuya Nonoy.
(Kuya - is the term we Filipinos use for older brother or any kid, teenager who is a boy.)

My son and I.

I will be posting some photos next time when I get the chance to have another visit or vacation somewhere else. Have fun everyone!

Leisure 16: What is the color of your Brain?

This nail art design is purely out of sadness and stress. Some things are just getting out of hand lately but I am trying to let every sad emotion out, I just can't cry. I was thinking of painting some colorful things on my nails but I just can't cause I'm too hurt. So, I remember when I asked my student once "What is the color of your brain?"

That student surely was surprised with the question. I still cannot forget her face. hahaha

Well, if I were to answer my own question, my brain is GREEN.

You will need:
top coat
base coat
Black polish
Green polish (or anything you like)
Silver polish
Nail Brush (pointed) or Used Ballpens (pointed)
Cosmetic Sponge

HOW TO DO IT:

It will be as easy as 1, 2, 3 and done!

 Step 1

Step 1: Put base coat on your nails to protect it. However, if you don't have one, just put the color that you like (mine is green). Let it dry.

Step 2

Step 2: Get the cosmetic sponge and dip in into the silver polish (which should be prepared on a container). Then put it on top of the green coat like a mist.

Step 3

Step 3: Get your ball pointed pen or nail brush and use it to put black lines on your nails. Any designs will do. I just placed lines and because I wanted assorted lines on my finger nails.

Step 4: Put top coat. and You're DONE!

Have fun!
