Sarangani Highlands Garden

February…  The month of hearts. Hearts which symbolizes love. Love for friends… Love for work… Love for family. Family - - - > mom, dad, siblings, husband, wife, kids…

Valentine’s Day only happens once a year. But household chores and job happens every day of our lives.

I will share one of the beautiful places here in our city, General Santos (Philippines).

I always hear the word “Sarangani Highlands” but the truth was, I had never been to that place until my husband went back from Afghanistan and took me for a date.

Sarangani Highlands Garden is a garden and is located at Tambler, General Santos. You could travel going there via private vehicle or take jeepney (a public ride common in the Philippines) going to Tambler. Once you get to the corner of the place, just tell the jeepney driver to pull over and hand him your payment. Make sure to prepare Philippine coins. From there, you can get a public motorcycle (we call this habal2x or skylab) so you could go to the exact location. It’s gonna be a long way up up up and away.

Sarangani Highlands Garden offers its beautiful scenery. You could enjoy nature and its beauty, perfect for couples and families who are nature lovers. There’s an overview of the ocean. At night, you could see the city lights below. They have good and very affordable food as well. Some locals would choose this place for their wedding venues or party venues. Others would prefer having pictorials in the area. It’s away from the city but the things you could see are truly magnificent.

My first time experience with Sarangani Highlands Garden was truly amazing and romantic. Plus, I had the date with the love of my life, my husband.

I suggest for you to have your dinner date there especially if you have private vehicles because it’s kinda difficult to get there using the public transportation (that's from Sarangani Highlands Garden going back to your place).

So, drop down your tons and tons of work and chores for a couple of hours on this day, date with either your children, friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife or your parents. Love love love!!!
